New buildings that give “permanent, estate-wide bonuses”.
Four new bosses – again, courtyardians.
What we’ve seen depicts them as mosquito-like vampires. As if Darkest Dungeon wasnt hard enough already, the Crimson Court DLC brings in five ultra deadly new bosses focused around vampires (and those who hunt them), with a crazy mutant crocodile thrown in for good measure.
A new enemy faction – the courtyardians, presumably.
The screenshots show him wielding a large hammer and having a bonfire for some kind of support. At least it won’t reward you with heads of your crew members. It will presumably work like The Collector, appearing randomly when you’re least prepared to deal with it.
A new wandering boss called The Fanatic.
World Boss Arena The Crimson Hold Brudvaak, the Rider and Vargr, the Warg. We don’t know much about it, but the devs describe it with a single sentence: “Awash in blood and delusion, they bear the burden of a thousand lifetimes”. Dungeon Boss Tian, the Assassin Obryk, the Shield Warden Ikro, the Ice Conjurer Erfor, the Jackal World Boss Brudvaak, the Rider and Vargr, the Warg Reisum Dungeons. Here’s a list of things that have been revealed so far: The Crimson Court is meant to expand the game significantly, adding a new area, hero, some bosses and monsters, new village upgrades and more. If we were extremely lazy (which we’re not), we’d describe it as a Lovecraftian, distilled version of XCOM. The Crimson King himself as the final boss of the dlc, who starts off as a human throwing snitches and using a laser sword, and transforms into a gigantic nightmare spider for phase 2 It would also be nice if they could add Roland and Eddie to the list of highwaymen names if they arent options already. Meanwhile, you expand your village between missions, to provide stress relief to your mercenaries, as well as better equipment, skill teaching and such. Darkest Dungeon is a turn based dungeon crawler in which you lead a group of adventurers through increasingly difficult dungeons filled with monsters, loot, bosses and, most importantly, madness.
